A short piece about me: I have been working in the field of massage and complementary therapies now for 4 years, and I have to say that I really enjoy my work. I find it very rewarding when clients report back to me and tell me how much better they feel. I first came about learning to do massage after going through a period of experiencing neck and shoulder problems, the muscles around these area's were extemely tight and caused me all kinds of problems, I was unable to drive and had to temporarily give up work. A friend of mine mentioned to me about having massage treatments, so I sought to find myself a reputeable masseur. After taking just a few sessions of good deep massage work, it soon sorted me out, and I was back on track again. Massage seem to really resonate with me, so I looked into taking courses.
I took an I.T.E.C (International Therapy Examination Council) Holistic Massage course in September 2005 and successfully passed all the exams in March 2006. I've since taken many other courses, including Sports Massage. I am pleased to announce that I now hold an ITEC diploma in this field as well.
Nature Care College: For anyone wishing to learn massage/complementary therapies, I would wholeheartedly recommend Sherrill and Peter at The Nature Care College in Pitsea. They are fabulous teachers! To visit their website click here

People are realising that they need to look after themselves properly, as very often they are finding themselves experiencing all kind of health issues due exhaustion, stress and tension. This is due the the fast paste modern lifestyles of today. Most of us really need to take time out for ourselves to relax and unwind. Having a massage would be just what the doctor ordered.
